Meet the Makers

One of my favorite parts about Monroe 816 is that we are able feature products from other local makers. Our community is full of hidden talents, so it's truly an honor to sell these amazing items that also make great gifts! I'm excited to introduce you to some of my makers!

Let's start with jewelry! These Addie & Po earrings are handmade by Kim (Porter) Glaves, who is a native of Garnett, Kansas. She is currently a stay-at-home mom and wife who loves to make women look beautiful with her one-of-a-kind designs. You will find an earring for every outfit, event and personality. From statement pieces to understated beauty, there is truly something for everyone.

Anne Marie Strobel with A. Strobel Photography took a creative spin in conjunction with her family business. Anne Marie is local to the area and her farm canvas prints helped her find her niche in animal photography. Anne Marie is also a wife and mom of three.

Hannah Thompson is passionate about healthier homes and families. That's why she created Grace & Wellness. Hannah uses recipes for her products that have been tested by her five kids and farmer husband. Her clean, safe and healthy products are a true asset to my store.

Payton Feuerborn, of Garnett, always dreamed of being a small business owner. Her dream came to life with Sweet P Boutique when she realized how hard it was to find affordable products for little ones- especially in a small town. While a large part of Payton's business takes place online, I'm thrilled to feature many pieces in Monroe 816. This comes in handy for those last-minute baby shower gifts! You don't have to leave town to find affordable and cute clothing for littles.

Fields of Goats is a mother-daughter duo who makes handmade goat's milk soap. Jenny and Talon Jasper create high-quality soaps from goats they raise and milk. Talon is a high school student who hopes to own her very own soap boutique someday!

Local family photographer, Jenni Keith, is a busy wife and mom of four. She's also the owner of Faith & Photography. She was called by God to share her love of photography with others and she's been doing just that. She has an eye for all God's creation and for capturing the most amazing Kansas sunsets. Jenni even stretches the canvas prints herself.

I am truly blessed to have such amazing artistry right here in my backyard! Check out all these products and more at www.monroe816.com!
